Pinnacle Madurai Half Marathon – Run for Change (1st Edition – Avoid Drug Abuse)

Pinnacle Madurai Half Marathon was held in Madurai for drug prevention awareness.
Nearly 2000 people participated in this marathon which was inaugurated by District Collector Aneesh Shekhar.
Pinnacle Madurai Half Marathon – Run for Change : Madurai’s most iconic run is being laid out with domestic and international stakeholders to promote healthy lifestyle and tourism through running.
Pinnacle Madurai Half Marathon first edition was conducted in association with Madurai City Police, TamilNadu Tourism Development Corporation and Yi-Young Indians.
The marathon event was flagged off by Madurai District Collector Dr. Aneesh Shekar and Madurai Corporation Commissioner Mr. Simrajeeth Singh Khalon. MHM (Madurai Half Marathon) comprises of 4 running categories – 3Km, 5Km, 10Km and 21 KM and provides opportunity for all genders above the age of 8. The Run shall originate from MGR Stadium, Racecourse Road, and end at the same point after having multiple category loops on Alagarkovil Road.
The run participants was provided with Certificates and Medal post event to celebrate their success, which shall be authenticated by Tamilnadu Athletics Association. 10KM and 21KM Participants was provided with timing chip and E-certificate with their run timings marked autonomously by the automated system.
The event organisers stated that to avoid Drug Abuse and to create awareness is the prime cause being promoted in line with our values of holistically campaigning for Healthy Lifestyle and Climate Change.
Pinnacle Infotech DGM Pankaj kumar SAO, AGM Manikandan, Solamalai Group of Institutions Executive Director Arvind Solamalai Pichai, Eight O Eight Founder Harsh Garg, Co-Founder Rohan Sangoye and others made arrangements for the marathon.
